MISSION:
Ms. Riemer's mission is to provide education consistent with evidenced based practice, on proactive approaches to managing conflicts and challenging behaviors in order to minimize or eliminate risks of violence and trauma.
SERVICES:
1) Provide consultation on identifying challenging behaviors that could lead to conflicts
and violence.
2) Provide education of how to identify patterns & triggers to the behaviors
3) Provide proactive interventions to create sanctuary and to assist to get needs met without conflicts that could lead to violence
4) Assess & evaluate need for treatment plans that include de-escalation plans and are
individualized, measurable, outcome oriented, proactive, least restrictive and
empowering, and recovery focused
5) Review, analyze, and summarize consumer medical and psychiatric records and other
pertinent information
6) Identify standards of care issues for health care professionals in the medical and
and psychiatric setting
7) Provide trauma informed care education to promote awareness of how conflicts can lead to
violence and trauma, and how to manage trauma symptoms
8) Provide education to consumers, and care providers in areas that will help them
to manage their emotions, enhance coping skills, and communicate to get their needs
met without conflict that could lead to violence:
